Julius Kudela Jr., 62 years of age, currently living in Waynesville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
He was born November 1, 1959, in Lorain and lived most of his life in Vermilion, moving to Waynesville, MO in 2016. Champ graduated from Firelands High School in the Class of 1978.
Champ was an over the road truck driver for several years before being employed at L & M Towing in Vermilion as a tow truck driver and mechanic. He was known as the tow truck driver with his little dog “Joker”. He was always willing to help others in need and lend a hand. He will be missed by so many.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Matthew and Jessica, his 3 grandchildren and another one on the way. His siblings include Beverly (Howard) Griffith, Salt Lake City, Utah, Stephanie Horton of St. Robert, MO, Daphne (Louis) Lee, Waynesville, MO, David (Kelli) Kudela, Oberlin, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Julius Sr. (2019) and Dorothy (2020) Kudela, sister Valerie and his dog, “Joker”.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
