Bill and Bonnie met one another in Waynesburg, PA, in their teens. From there, they found an everlasting love for one another. Bill enlisted in the Navy in 1959, and they were wed on June 3, 1961.
Bill and Bonnie started a family after his time in the Navy. They had three daughters together that were the light of their lives.
Bill had many hobbies and passions from building hot rods, going to car shows and spending time in his garage. Bonnie also had an interest in many things from being a homemaker, attending car shows with Bill, to spending time playing card games on her computer. The most important passion they shared was their family.
They are survived by their three daughters, Crystal (Shane O'Brien) Eitner, Amanda (Tim) Gratz and Billie Jo (Steven) Gratz; five grandchildren, William Rhodes, Ashley Rhodes, Justin Eitner, April Gratz, and Austin Eitner; and seven great-grandchildren. Bonnie is survived by two brothers, William Irvin Funk and Robert Lane Funk. Bill and Bonnie are also survived by numerous family and friends.
Bill and Bonnie were the definition of "true love". They are loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew them.
