Vermilion High School Prom 2023 visits “The Princess and the Frog” – in style
Inside Vermilion High School, The Commons were transformed into a hazy marsh, the setting for this year’s prom with the theme of “The Princess and the Frog.” And in a way that only V-towners can do, the community came out to see those going to these year’s fete arrive in style – whether it be by a side-by-side, horse and carriage, Vermilion fire truck, bicycle, Shipyard trolley, dune buggy, classic car or even a Challenger stretch limo. The spectacle did not disappoint, as the event is always akin to a Hollywood awards show, and there were likely just as many photographers. (VPJ photos – Darcie Zudell)
